AZIO Retro Compact Keyboard review: the retro, mechanical and wireless keyboard that you can buy now
During this year’s Computex, the manufacturer AZIO showed the public its new creation, the RCK keyboard ( Retro Compact Keyboard ), a mechanical keyboard with a TKL (no numeric pad) format and a retro- look wireless that captivated those who saw it. Now the company has announced the start-up of the Indiegogo page where we will be able to purchase units of this AZIO Retro Compact Keyboard, and also at a reduced price.
The manufacturer has created this keyboard putting the maximum attention to detail in terms of the quality of construction and aesthetic appearance. What we found is a keyboard of TKL format, without a numerical pad, with the appearance of an old typewriter, in the purest retro style (and many will say Cyberpunk ), manufactured with materials ranging from genuine leather to wood, creating really a whole collector’s piece.
But the AZIO Retro Compact Keyboard has the best technology under the hood, starting with the possibility of using it both with USB cable and wirelessly via Bluetooth, and also having its generous 5000 mAh internal battery that will allow it to be used wirelessly for months without having to connect the cable.
Besides that, of course the AZIO Retro Compact Keyboard is a keyboard with mechanical switches (to choose when buying it) backlit (by the way, the estimation of several months of battery life is even with the lighting on), Full N -Key Rollover and even a switch that will allow us to switch between Windows mode and Mac mode (by setting the ALT keys and changing the Windows one by CMD).
The news is that the manufacturer has already launched the product page in Indiegogo, in which we can not only see the different models and colors that are available, but also support the project and get us with it. In fact, now during these days we can do it at a reduced price, because instead of the $ 219 that will cost when you get to stores, we can buy it for $ 119 (plus shipping), a 45% discount in total.
