The Nokia Lumia 520 smartphone was presented at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The gadget is mainly aimed at a cheap segment of the market. In a mini-review, we will consider the main features of the device.
It has a Nokia Lumia 520 smartphone
Nokia Lumia 520 is one of the most affordable WP8 smartphones. Despite the low price, the Lumia 520 is actually slightly better than the Lumia 620.
The gadget is equipped with a 4-inch IPS display with WVGA resolution. Image quality is slightly lower than the Lumia 620, especially in terms of viewing angles.
The device is slightly thinner than the Nokia Lumia 620.
The phone has a battery capacity of 1430 mAh, which is not so much, although the Lumia 620 is even smaller.
Internal memory is 8 GB, but can be expanded using microSD cards up to 64 GB.
The camera is installed very well – 5 megapixels with the ability to record videos with HD resolution. The camera is slightly worse than the Nokia Lumia 620, although this is not very visible.
Nokia Lumia 520 is equipped with a 2-core Krait processor with a frequency of 1 GHz and 512 MB RAM. At this point, most applications in the Windows Phone store will work on this gadget, but in the near future, 512 MB may become a serious limitation.
Well, and as always, the Finnish manufacturer's smartphones stand out in bright colors. Nokia Lumia 520 has switchable panels, so you can change your device on the go.
The start of sales of new items is scheduled for the second quarter of 2013. Until now, we will try to prepare a more detailed review of the Nokia Lumia 520.
