    No real Contest for me. I have the one plus 8 pro 5 G. And the galaxy S20 5 G. I'd always choose both before iphone. For Quality and Prices. In England especially.But, now, do I stay, or, update to the One plus 9/10, or Galaxy s21/22???

    Love your comparisons. Thanks for that. I've been watching tons of comparison videos. For me the camera is the most important factor about my phone as I'm not using a separate dedicated camera. I'm going onto hikes often and I just can't be bothered dragging a system camera or a heavy DSLR with me. I currently have the S20 FE 5G and the OnePlus 8 Pro here with me. I'd need a mixture of both of them. The 1+ definitely takes the better photos, more true to life and great macro mode, but I don't like that the ultrawide isn't as wide as the Samsung one. Also, the 1+ sometimes produces unsharp photos which is horrible for a point and shoot situation. The Samsung is doing much better there. What I hate about the S20 FE – or the newer Samsung phones in general is the oversaturation of photos even when AI and HDR is turned off. With GCam installed, I get the colors I want, but it's not very stable and the quality of those photos is worse than of the standard camera app …… also I find the 1+ a bit too huge and heavy. Not a fan of edge displays on top of that. Even the S20 FE is a bit too big … I'm coming from a S7 …… which needs to be replaced. I want to keep my device for as long as possible. My S7 is still very capable, but now that I've seen what newer cameras can do, esp. ultrawide, I need this in my life. 🙂 Contemplating giving Pixel 5 a chance instead …..
