I bought mine in November of 2012 and here I am in 2020 still using the same phone with some harms of course, doesn't lose to any newer device, the only drawback is the outdated OS, most apps aren't coming to Android KitKat anymore, I bet I could root mine and install some newer OS version, but it isn't worth the bother, I'll buy a new one if I need so.
