CTL J5 Rugged review
CTL J5 Rugged review. Popular chromebook manufacture CLT has released J5 rugged chromebook that feature convertible design. If you do not know what it means that the equipment is convertible I’ll explain in a moment: it means that it is designed in such a way that we can use the computer as much as laptop with keyboard, or like a tablet with touch screen.
In this case the J5 Rugged Chromebook has an 11.6-inch screen and HD resolution (1366 x 768) capacitive touch IPS matrix five points, more than enough to use as large or as small portable tablet. In addition the manufacturer given the option to buy it with or without stylus.
As for the installed hardware, CTL has opted for an Intel Braswell N3050 processor with two cores and two threads process (without hyperthreading) operating at a maximum speed of 2.16 GHz and a TDP of only 6 watts, which will work to the team has a good battery life – in fact, the best in the world of Chromebooks. The computer has 4 GB of RAM and 16 GB LPDDR3 internal storage expandable to 32 GB eMMC.
Regarding connectivity, the CTL J5 Rugged combo incorporates a 3.5mm minijack audio, an HDMI output, two USB 3.0 ports and a microSD card reader, plus an integrated webcam. Its battery provides the system with 10 hours of battery life under ideal conditions.
Of course the CTL Rugged J5 is equipped with Chrome OS operating system (otherwise it would not be a Chromebook), and will be released in the coming weeks at a price of $ 249.And you can be booked from the manufacturer ‘s website.
