Acer Predator Helios 500 launched in India, boasts i9 and Nvidia 1070 GPU

Acer Predator Helios 300 was launched in India in Q4 2017 and today, the company has introduced an improved and beefier version of it – Acer Predator Helios 500 that boasts the latest Intel Core i9 8950HK with Nvidia GTX1070 8GB Graphics or Up to AMD Ryzen 7 2700 with AMD Vega 56 Graphics. Previously, the Predator series was only offered with Intel parts and it is good to see Acer offering gamers choice between Intel+Nvidia and AMD innards.

The Predator series is a must have for someone that is looking for top notch gaming experience. Backed by top end i9 K-series processor and Nvidia 1070 GPU, you will have no trouble in running high end games at full HD @120FPS or higher. Same can be said about the display that packs 4k UHD resolution or full HD IPS panel with 144Hz refresh rates.

If you go for the Nvidia variant, you get G-Sync tech for smooth gameplay without tearing.

To keep everything run cool, the Helios 500 features Acer’s proprietary AeroBlade 3D metal fans, and five heat pipes that distribute cool air to the machine’s key components while simultaneously releasing hot air. Fan speed can be controlled and customized through the PredatorSense app.

Acer Predator Helios 500 price in India – This laptop will be available at Acer malls and online retailers for 2.5 lakhs. There will be a cheaper i7 variant as well that will cost you 2L.
