AOC AGON AG322QC4 is first HDR monitor | AOC AGON AG322QC4 specifications and price

AOC has made its way through time with some lights and shadows. He arrived late to the world “gaming” but that is not why he is lagging behind his competitors in a tough market such as monitors. That is why the AG322QC4 has announced the first member of the premium AGON monitors line today.

About to enter the final straight of this year, AOC has introduced something much in demand by the players, the much sought after HDR. And it has done so on a 32-inch curved QHD screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 4 ms panel response time along with the latest AMD in adaptive synchronization: FreeSync 2.

This means that this AOC AG322QC4 is the first monitor of the company with HDR400 Display certification. As we have said before, the screen is 32 inches with QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 and with a curvature of 1800R, this helps to reduce eye fatigue since it conforms to the shape that the eye sees.

The panel included is VA with a contrast that according to the brand will be high dynamic range (HDR, but not specified) being able to cover 85% of the NTSC spectrum.

FreeSync 2 is the latest version of AMD adaptive synchronization based on the standards set by DisplayPort. Thanks to him we can play our favorite games fluidly, without worrying about tearing or stuttering, obtaining sharper scenes instantly and together with the panel of this AG322QC4 we will have a higher overall visual quality.

In addition to all these features, AOC has added other proprietary features such as Shadow Control, FlickerFree technology and LowBlue mode. With Shadow Control, players will be able to control the level of shadows within the monitor’s viewing menu, increasing if necessary the contrast to obtain better dark areas not affecting the rest of the panel.

This can mean an important competitive advantage in front of monitors that do not have similar technologies, since where with this AOC we can see the enemies that hide in the shadows with other monitors we will not have that advantage.

AOC Flicker-Free AOC technology protects the eyes to avoid or reduce eye fatigue during gaming marathons, while LowBlue mode will power Flicker-Free by reducing short-wave blue light without sacrificing the color quality of the panel.
