Belkin USB-C and USB-A Home Charger Review (F7U011dqSLV)
A lot of the new devices come with the USB-C port and this includes latest smartphones and laptops. At the same time, there are myriad devices that use the good old USB port which is now referred to as USB-A. With the new Belkin USB-C and USB-A Home Charger (model# F7U011dqSLV), you will be able to charge both of at the same time. It has two independent powered ports that guarantee 15 Watts of power to your USB-C device and 12 Watts to your standard USB-A device. So, in total, the Belkin USB-C and USB-A Home Charger can give you 27 Watt output.
The only downside is there is no cable included in the box and Belkin expects you to use your existing cables. There is a variant that comes with USB Type-C cable in box – F7U022dq06-SLV.
I was able to charge my iPhone and Galaxy S8 simultaneously. That is because it has fully powered independent ports. Fast charging is supported if your device supports it.
Belkin USB-C and USB-A Home Charger feels and looks expensive. It has soft touch metallic finish – similar to the one found on Apple Macbooks.
Belkin USB-C and USB-A Home Charger comes with 2500 dollars worth of connected equipment warranty. It measures 2.45”x2.45”x1.25” and comes in only white-silver finish.
