Cooler Master MasterCase SL600M: new box that promotes the expulsion of heat
The manufacturer based in Taipei has more than 25 years of experience in the gaming sector and in all these years it has innovated in its series, expanding them or completing them with new models.
Today presents the start of a new series of chassis that will have the name Sleek SL, and begins with the presentation of this MasterCase SL600M, a chassis that in the words of the Cooler Master itself erases the line between a chassis for work and for games.
With a polished aluminum coating by sandblasting, this MasterCase SL600M looks for the sober and at the same time futuristic touch that we can find at work, without losing performance in between.
Perfectly fuses both worlds, but for that it requires more than aesthetic changes. The first novelty resorts to what the brand has called the vertical chimney effect design, and according to what we are going to explain, the name is not painted.
The improvements of this effect go through two fans of 200 mm that are included in the lower part of the chassis and that together with the natural convection effect of the heat push the air up allowing its exit through the upper part of it.
This improves the thermal design along with the help of the front and rear panels that improve in this aspect.
The choice of these fans is favored by two factors: the first and as we said is the vertical output of air, the second is the reduction of noise, since this type of fans can move a lot of air with few RPM and so both with lower sonority, at the cost of course of losing all the static pressure.
The design of the panels prevents the low noise generated by the fans from being directed towards the user. As for these panels, we find high quality aluminum in the front and roof, being this anodized first quality with a smooth and sandblasted finish.
Cooler Master MasterCase SL600M review
Cooler Master has designed a PCI retention system for the GPUs that it has called the rotating PCI support window, since it can rotate 90 degrees and achieve a vertical configuration.
As for storage, we will have vertical supports to mount SSD, HDD, pumps or water tanks. These supports can be placed in multiple positions inside the box, even behind the front panel and the lower radiator support.
As a novelty, this MasterCase SL600M will include a proximity sensor that will activate the USB illumination to facilitate access in the dark, a great detail without a doubt.
The price of this Cooler Master MasterCase SL600M will be approximately 199 euros and must be available in the main Spanish stores soon, without specifying exact date.
