Did Apple do anything new this time around? Not really. Do we still need to check the build? Yes we do. Apple has released a ‘budget’ (lol) version of their iPhone X series. This iPhone Xr is made from aluminum and glass, and has a display from 5 years ago.

Is the cheaper iPhone Xr weaker than its more expensive counterparts? The only way to find out is with the standardized durability test from JerryRigEverything. The scratch test reveals not only what the screen is made from, but also the metal body of the phone. Apple once again has not upgraded their sapphire. It is still the impure scratchable stuff they put on their watch and camera lenses.

    I just don't understand why iFans keep dropping huge amounts of cash on iLandfill phones when other manufacturers like Samsung and Google are coming out with new, awe inspiring technologies and designs like machine learning AI, water and dust resistant geared hinges, etc, etc. Just about every single generation of this phone, plus or minus a few camera lenses, looks surprisingly the same as the first generation. Why do people gravitate to such a boring phone?

    Watching this in 2022 and laughing at how this phone was the most liked and highly sold phone despite the display just goes to show that everyone who cried about the display was wrong.

    He has that soothing serial killer vibe, like he’d eat you with some fava beans and a nice chianti, but you’d be relaxed while he’s doing it.

    I got 1 iPhone in my life and I HATED it the whole time I had it! It was always glitchy from day 2 and it was slow and shitty, the relief I had going back to Samsung was amazing! The iPhone was awful for someone with sight impairments and it only worked some of the time
    I now am on my 4th S series phone and I don't plan on EVER getting another apple product again 🙃
