MSI GM60 and GM70 Gaming Clutch Mouse launched
The Clutch mouse family, which began with the launch of the GM40 in late 2016 , now has the two new members GM60 and GM70, both sharing features as configurable RGB lighting (not missing) and interchangeable sides that allow to adapt the shape of the Mouse to the size of the user’s hand in a convenient and simple way. The main differences between these two new Clutch models are two. The first is the sensor, because the GM60 mounts a Pixart PMW 3360 optical that allows setting the sensitivity between 1 and 10,800 DPI, while the GM70 can reach up to 18,000 DPI using the same sensor. Weird things. Both mice, eye-to-eye, allow to modify the refresh rate between 1000 and 3000 Hz, tripling the usual maximum rate found in any Gaming mouse.
The second main difference lies in the connectivity, since the GM60 only allows connection by cable but the GM70 has the option to become wireless. In other words, we can use the MSI Clutch GM70 with both cable, with which we can have a latency of only 0.33 ms, or without a cable with a latency of 1 ms (the usual 1000 Hz). Unfortunately the manufacturer has not said anything about the autonomy of the device, although with the lighting and its great frequency of refreshment and resolution I doubt that it exceeds 8 hours, the truth.
The rest of the specifications are the same in both mice: 2 meter cable meshed with braided nylon wire, OMRON switches, aluminum housing, and compatibility with MSI Mystic Light software. The GM70 has a weight of 129 grams while the GM60 weighs only 115 grams.
The company said that both devices will be available in stores starting in July, although they have not indicated their price.
