Nvidia GeForce GTX 1180 specifications leaked, here are the details
New details have been leaked on the next, and highly anticipated, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1180 graphics card. Among the details that we will now know, is the composition of the internal nuclei of the graph, as well as its base and turbo frequencies, apart from its consumption, which is somewhat higher than the card it replaces, the GeForce GTX 1080. It would not be strange to say that the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1180 have become one of the most desired models by enthusiasts.

The number of transistors that will equip is not known at the moment, although it will almost certainly be higher than the 7,200 million of the current GeForce GTX 1080. The operating frequencies of the graphic core are believed to be 1405 MHz for the base, while the Boost frequency goes up to 1582 MHz. It’s funny, because these frequencies are lower than those used by the current GTX 1080. Of course, consumption of these new graphics has risen a bit to 200 W, compared to 180 W that consume the current 1080 GTX.
Following the internal details of the kernel, the number of shader units increases to 3,584 (from the 2,560 of the current model), as do the TMU to 224 (from 160 of the current model).
The amount of RAM that will mount this graphic card will be twice the amount mounted by the current GTX 1080, rising to 16 GB, although in this case the RAM will be the new type GDDR6. Yes, the 256-bit memory bus used by NVIDIA’s high-end graphics cards from the time of the Maxwell architecture will continue to be maintained.
