Nvidia GeForce GTX Ti 1060 release date
It is well known that NVIDIA will present its upcoming graphics cards GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 in June, but so far there is another unknown in the equation, as it is also known that NVIDIA would present three models of graphics cards based on the GP104 chip of these previous two . According to recent rumors, the green would be slightly lower also preparing a model, an alleged GeForce GTX Ti 1060 with “only” 4 GB of GDDR5 memory and a memory bus of 192 bits.
First of all, as always clarify that we handle are rumors and there is no official statement from the company. That said, if it was known that NVIDIA would present three graphics cards in mid-June, but so far only “suspected” two of them, the GTX 1080 and 1070 that already we have spoken several times previously. Rumors now suggest that the third graph based on Pascal GP104 chip would be a GTX Ti 1060 with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory and 192-bit memory bandwidth.
We will analyze the situation. If the Ti 1060 GTX comes true, should be a graphic with a price of between 200 and 300 dollars, sector currently dominated by the GTX 960 and GTX 970 company, with permission of the R9 380 and R9 390 AMD. Of course it is a fairly cornered industry today, and we doubt that this alleged new graphics have no place in it unless the company immediately withdraw the current GTX 960/970, which really is quite likely though still very valid graphic.
It is also possible that NVIDIA will surprise everyone by throwing this graph with less than $ 200 price, which seems quite likely but it would make much more sense when placed on the market, especially if the assumptions are true and delivery similar to that of AMD R9 380/390 performance because in this case would be the first time in history that NVIDIA will launch a new graphics with better performance than AMD and best price.
Everything is in the air at the moment, but not take long to find out.
