Quantum Dot Color is an innovative nanomaterial technology, developed by Philips, which produces an incredibly accurate and saturated color, to the point of achieving a 30% more color than the traditional sRGB LED. In addition, manufacturing costs only a fraction compared with most color-critical technologies, using 25% less energy, which saves well on electricity bills. With a typical LCD screen, there is a leak between the RGB channels that compromises the quality with which the screen can cover the range of colors. This new LCD screen with Quantum Dot technology developed by Philips Color finer distinctions between channels are achieved, showing a more consistent and vibrant colors across the entire color spectrum and user disposable pair.
To take advantage of the excellent quality of color, this latest member of the E-Line series features, IPD-ADS technology that provides greater image clarity, resolution FULL HD 1920 × 1080 pixels, as well as a wider viewing angle 178 degrees. It also incorporates technologies Philips Smart to complement the color performance with improved contrast and brightness. Smart Image Lite dynamically enhances the contrast, color saturation and sharpness to suit what is displayed on the screen.
Smart Control Lite help quickly and easily to users to fine – tune the display settings. Smart Contrast automatically adjusts color, contrast and backlight intensity to the visual experience even more rich and enveloping. And for extra performance, thanks to Smart Response response time is in just 5ms, ideal for fast moving applications, such as video games.
