Pioneer SPH-C19BT Review – making driving safer than ever
Pioneer SPH-C19BT was launched last week in India and we have been playing around with the review unit.
What is Pioneer SPH-C19BT?
It is an audio system that makes driving safer by simplifying calling, music, navigation, and messaging. On the front, there are six interactive keys for making call, checking SMS messages, music, navigation and voice recognition.
To interact with the Pioneer SPH-C19BT, you will need to install Pioneer Smart Sync app on your device. Both Google Android phones and iPhone devices are supported. Just place your device in the inbuilt cradle, which by the way, supports very wide phones – upto 87mm to be exact.
The phone is held very securely and there is almost no rattling at all. There is support for steering mounted controls and rear parking sensor as well.
Audio settings are very comprehensive and you get things like 31 band equalizer, crossover, time alignment and live simulation, all of which are customizable via the Pioneer Smart Sync app.
The entire system looks very elegant, thanks to smooth edges. It has USB port, radio and Bluetooth connectivity as well. So, you have the choice of connecting your phone via bluetooth or USB port.
What is the price of Pioneer SPH-C19BT?
Pioneer SPH-C19BT can be bought for INR 7150 from any authorized Pioneer retailers. You can download the Pioneer Smart Sync app from Google Play Store and iOS App store.
What we did not like about it?
The only gripe is its price tag, which we think is a bit on the high side. Also, like rest of the company’s car infotainment and audio systems, it is not available on any ecommerce website. This means you will have to visit your local audio system retailer to enquire and buy the Pioneer SPH-C19BT.
