Thunderbolt 3 Aorus GTX 1070 Gaming Box

Gigabyte, through its Aorus brand, has announced the launch of the GTX 1070 Gaming Box, an external GPU box that connects to any computer via Thunderbolt 3 connection and adds all the power of the GeForce GTX 1070 to the computer that we connect, allowing laptops or mini PCs can be used to play high games without the slightest problem. Without a doubt, the great news of this Aorus GTX 1070 Gaming Box is the fact that, unlike the other boxes for external GPUs that come without graphics, includes everything necessary to connect and play. It has a GTX 1070, logically manufactured by Aorus, plus a 450-watt power supply already mounted, so the user would just have to connect the Gaming Box to the current and his equipment through Thunderbolt 3 and would be ready to enjoy the power that the graphics card will give you.

Thanks to everything integrated, the GTX 1070 Gaming Box is able to provide up to 100 watts of charge through the same Thunderbolt 3 port, so if we use it together with a laptop in addition we will be charging its battery (if the laptop Admits, in the case of Apple Macs yes it is, for example). It also incorporates two DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort outputs in order to connect additional monitors, as well as three USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.1 with additional charge (to charge smartphones and tablets) and of course the Thunderbolt 3, its main connection connector.

The Aorus GTX 1070 Gaming Box is a relatively small box (of course Aorus gives a suitcase in which to carry the device comfortably), with a grid on the side that allows the graphic to get fresh air from the outside and, As it could not be otherwise, incorporates RGB illumination configurable using the RGB Fusion software. In addition, the box can be opened to clean inside or even replace the graph with another if you want.

At the moment the manufacturer has not indicated date of availability or price, but bearing in mind that the external GPU boxes already usually cost around 400 euros and that this one incorporates a GTX 1070 of series you can count on that of 700 euros will not go down to Good insurance. For the moment, you have all the information on the manufacturer’s website.
