Zotac ZBOX C1329 Nano is mini computer that is easy to upgrade
The manufacturer Zotac has unveiled its new mini ZBOX C1329 Nano computer. This new mini computer can be purchased completely equipped with RAM and storage unit, or completely without these components, so that the user can configure it to their own taste, depending on the needs that it has when using it. When Intel launched its first NUC mini-computer, in the days of the Sandy Bridge processors, the race to manufacture the smallest computer possible began. It is true that the market to which these models are intended is usually not that of high performance, since they tend to mount low-power processors, although there are many more options, but it is a type of computer that is very attractive for users who require of a compact system and that does not occupy too much space.
Users of this type of computers usually use them at work, since their small size makes it easy to transport them from one place to another. Or at home, if the system works passively like the Zotac ZBOX C1329 Nano. Although it is also true that the Zotac Zotac series includes, from low-performance models like this C1329 Nano, to very powerful models that equip, inside, NVIDIA Quadro Pascal graphics cards, designed to perform much heavier tasks.
So that the new C1329 Nano can work in passive mode, it is necessary that the processor that assembles is one that consumes the minimum possible. Therefore, the manufacturer has chosen to mount an Intel Celeron N4100 processor. This is a processor with a core Gemini Lake four inner cores, which has a consumption of only 6 W. This processor has a base frequency of 1.1 GHz, while its boost frequency allows it to reach 2.4 GHz.
As is normal for a mini computer like the ZBOX C1329 Nano, the user can buy it in barebone format, just with the processor, the motherboard and the box, or you can choose to buy it equipped with up to 8 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM and a mechanical hard drive or an SSD of the size that the user needs to use.
As for connectivity, this mini computer has two Gigabit Ethernet ports on the back, apart from a wireless card 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0. It also includes five USB 3.1 ports (one type A next to one type C on the front, with the rest of them being type A and located on the back). As a video output, this model has a VGA, an HDMI and a DisplayPort.
