Galaxy GTX 1060 HOF Edition pictures leaked and it looks amazing: Galaxy GTX 1060 HOF overview

The Chinese website Expreview has released the first images of what will be the new graphics card Galaxy GTX 1060 HOF and so we can see, will be a fully customized model in all aspects, from the huge sink three fans used to the new regulatory power of the graphics card.

One of the things that are obvious to see the pictures immediately on the Galaxy GTX 1060 HOF are the power connectors that is incorporated into the design of this model. With a configuration of power connectors 8 + 6 pin, it is clear that power consumption high can only mean that it will provide a serious margin to overclock by enthusiasts. Similarly, we are pleased to see that the original has been redesigned VRM GTX 1060 and replaced by a new system of VRM consists of 6 + 2 phases that are now cooled by a heatsink made of extruded aluminum.

Turning to the clock speeds of the new graphics card, base speed core clock is 1582 MHz with a clock speed boost of 1797 MHz. Given that the reference model Nvidia has a clock speed 1,506 MHz and 1,708 MHz boost, we can see that Galaxy is putting all the meat on the grill to create a truly epic graphics card.

But, as has always happened with the graphs of the HOF series, the main selling point of the HOF (Hall Of Fame) series is not the raw power per se, if not price / performance ratio and although now lack the selling price of this model, we are convinced that their price will not be too high (under penalty of cannibalizing sales of its older sister, the Geforce GTX 1070) and having 6GB of GRAM on the graph will be a point positive for those users who have in mind to play at high resolutions such as 2K.
