Moto E5, E5 Plus launched in India for 9999 and 11999

Motorola has churned out pair of android phones, E5 and E5 Plus in India for 9999 and 11999 respectively. Moto E5 specs include 5.7″ display with HD+ resolution, Snapdragon 425 processor, 16GB flash storage and 2GB RAM. The E5 Plus is for those who want bigger display, so you get 6″ HD+ display but you also get better Snapdragon 430 processor and 3GB RAM.

Both E5 and E5 Plus sport a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. You can record video in full HD resolution at 30FPS. 60FPS is not supported in either. Software video stabilization is there but it is no where as good as OIS.

E5 has 4000mAh battery while E5 + has 5000mAh batery. Storage is expandable in both cases and can be expanded to 256GB easily using its micro SD card slot. Battery is not removable in either phones.

The E5 Plus has glass panel while the cheaper E5 has plastic back. The glass panel has reflective wave pattern and arched back. Connectivity options are same in both android phones – Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, VoLTE, LTE, Wi-Fi, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Prices could have been cheaper though. At these prices, Moto E5 and E5 Plus will face tough competition from Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo.
